LCJ Capteurs distributed by "Vélasalan ehf" in Iceland

LCJ Capteurs keeps on expanding their distribution network

2013 is an important year for LCJ Capteurs who are setting their distribution network in major countries. The range of Ultrasonic Wind Sensors is now available in Iceland from "Vélasalan ehf". This company is well established in Reykjavik for more than 70 years and holds the distributor Tæknivik since 2010. They address both leisure and professional markets, which is a key point for LCJ Capteurs. (www.velasalan.is ; contact  Mr Gunnar Hrolfsson)
This follows the recent annoucements of
Mantsbrite in the UK,  ELNA in Germany and John Nurminen Marine in Finland as part of the LCJ Capteurs network and now Iceland is one more country were the Ultrasonic Sensors are made available from stock by local experts.

The range of Ultrasonic Wind Sensors from LCJ Capteurs addresses all markets sectors with products variations adapted to each use requirement.
LCJ Capteurs sensors  have proved their build quality, reliability  and accuracy in the harsh marine environment and they are now widely used in other fields such as weather stations, industrial applications, security and agriculture to name a few. Well known in France and recognized since 1999 these “moving-parts-free” sensors are now made available in Finland.

2013 is also important for LCJ Capteurs on the technical side with important additions to the product range after the introduction of the CanBus interface in last METS. This interface box makes the LCJ Capteurs sensors compatible with NMEA 2000 instruments and it includes an embedded barometric sensor adding more information to the system through a barometer function page.
Previously announced as a future 2013 season new product, the Rotating Mast Kit which can be added to the CanBus is now available!
This allows using any instrument system of your choice to be fitted on a sailboat with rotating mast. Simply plug your instrument system to the LCJ Capteurs CanBus interface connected to the mast head unit and a rotating mast sensor: the wind direction is automatically corrected from the mast angle!
Note that all the LCJ Capteurs Ultrasonic Wind Sensors feature an NMEA0183 interface as a standard and can be ordered with the relevant interface option for a direct integration to most of the systems available on the market. LCJ Capteurs can develop specific interfaces on request.

Data such as wind angle, wind speed, air temperature and barometric pressure are sent by this interface directly to the BusCan
The PGNs used by this interface box are:
TX: 59392; 60928; 126464; 126996; 130306; 130311
RX: 59392, 59904; 60928
