Two years ago, when Memel Werfe started, the founder, Henrikas
Petrauskas formed a team of highly skilled professionals who share the
same passion for beautiful classic boats. Motor or sail, it doesn’t
matter: the boats have to be beautiful, unique and their task is to give
them a new life.Henrikas keeps an eye on the used boat market
and as soon as he spots a beauty, he buys her, where ever she is, with
the aim to restore, refit and rehome her. Henrikas will find a new owner
who will enjoy sailing a unique boat and share his passion.
The
refit is driven with sailing capabilities in mind. The shipyard uses
modern materials and equipment so that the boats can be extensively
used.
Memel Werfe employs 7 craftsmen and the team can work with wood, metal, mechanics, deck hardware...
The boats are refit in houses from A to Z.
A webcam allows the owner to keep up-to-date on the work carried out on his boat.
Memel Werfe can work on 2 to 3 boats at a time and up to 35 feet long.
Interiors feature modern and comfortable equipment as well as deck harware and electric equipment. Classic does not mean impractical!
